Celebrate the recent fair-use victory with this toy that was popular in Victorian times. A thaumatrope is a disk with a picture on each side attached to a piece of string. When the string is twisted, the disk spins, and the two pictures appear to combine into a single image due to persistence of vision. I personally assemble these thaumatropes in my studio in Omaha, NE. They are made using top of the line archival materials and can by signed or not.
