Barcode Paintings These twelve paintings are part of a series of 32 barcodes from my grocery list. My original idea for this project was to paint the corresponding barcodes to Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans. When I was ten, I saw a complete set of 32 screenprinted soup cans in Washington, D.C. I remember how they dominated this one giant wall in the museum. For my piece I wanted to create a wall that screams technology, and do it without using a computer.
