Custom Barcode Paintings

Every painting is hand made using top of the line archival materials.

| Order your name, birthday, or any other saying up to 15 characters long for a personalized barcode artwork. To render each personal phrase accurately, I make a black and white template on the computer of the complex stripe pattern. I then print out a full scale digital copy on paper. Next using a sharp knife and steady hand, I carefully cut out a stencil of the barcode. Finally I roll black paint over the stencil, passing acrylic through the holes, and onto the surface of the painting. The canvas is stapled on the back of heavy-duty stretcher bars to create a frameless, ready to hang work of art. From a distance the barcode lines are perfectly straight, and at first glance the artwork appears to be a inkjet print, but up close the texture reveals small details that lets you know this piece is hand crafted. Every custom barcode painting is signed, dated, and registered on this page. |
